- These shock absorbers are not PASM dampers and do not offer PASM-adjustable damping.
- They are designed as standard replacement units with built-in electronics to cancel PASM fault warnings.
- For correct functionality and proper vehicle handling, they must be installed as a full set of four (2 × front shock absorbers + 2 × rear shock absorbers)
- Mixing PASM units with OEMatch replacement units is not permitted and may result in suspension imbalance or fault messages.
Rear shocks wear out over time due to use, heat, and internal component fatigue. Worn dampers lose damping efficiency and can lead to:
• Degraded handling stability, especially under cornering or heavy braking
• Reduced tyre contact and increased tyre wear
• Less predictable rear-end behavior and reduced driving confidence
You should consider replacing rear shocks if:
• The ride has become noticeably harsh or unsettled over bumps and uneven roads
• You feel rear-end instability, sway, or reduced grip under braking or cornering
• The rear suspension shows uneven behavior or the struts are old/mileage is high
• You're performing rear suspension maintenance, upgrades, or full refresh
• You want to restore factory-correct handling and comfort
