What This Product Does
This pipe provides the return path within the original 993 fuel circuit. It forms part of the long fuel-system pipework routed between the front fuel-pump area and the rear-mounted engine.
Functions
- Returns fuel through the designated side of the circuit
- Links the relevant front and rear fuel-system sections
- Follows the factory left-hand-drive routing
- Interfaces with the original clamps and adjoining lines
Technical Details
- Porsche part number: 99335606302
- Catalogue description: return line
- Steering layout: Left Hand Drive (LHD)
- Exploded-catalogue position: 14
- Diagram quantity: 1
- Production notes: /LL -94 and /LL 95-
Symptoms of Fault
- Noticeable fuel or vapour odour
- Wet areas or staining near the pipework
- Corrosion, impact damage or deformation
- Deterioration around joints and connected hoses
- Fuel residue beneath the vehicle
Why Replacement Matters
Fuel pipes can deteriorate through age, corrosion, heat cycles or damage caused during previous repairs. Any suspected leak requires immediate investigation because escaping fuel or vapour can create a fire risk. When fitting the replacement line, examine the adjacent clamps, mountings, seals and connected pipework, then test the completed system for leaks using the correct workshop procedure.
FAQs
- Is this return line for left-hand-drive vehicles?
Yes. The supplied application and catalogue notation identify it for the left-hand-drive pipework arrangement. - Why are two production notes shown?
The same part number appears against both /LL -94 and /LL 95- groups in the 993 fuel-system catalogue. - Should other components be checked during installation?
Inspect the retaining clamps, rubber mountings, seals and neighbouring fuel lines while they are accessible. - Can the car be driven if a fuel leak is suspected?
No. Do not start or drive the vehicle until the fuel system has been inspected and repaired by a suitably qualified technician.
