Always check the required Porsche engine oil specification and viscosity for the individual model before ordering.
Its advanced formulation provides excellent wear protection, stable friction characteristics and reliable lubrication under demanding operating conditions. Designed to support smooth, precise gear changes, it helps protect the transmission's gears, bearings, clutch assemblies and hydraulic control components.
Suitable for selected Porsche PDK and other dual-clutch transmissions where the manufacturer's required fluid specification matches the product's stated recommendations.
What Does Dual Clutch Transmission Oil 8100 Do?
This specialist lubricant performs several important functions within a wet dual-clutch transmission.
It lubricates internal moving components, helps control operating temperatures and provides the friction characteristics required for smooth clutch engagement and gear selection.
Unlike conventional automatic transmission fluid, it is formulated specifically for the operating requirements of compatible dual-clutch gearboxes.
Why Choose LIQUI MOLY Dual Clutch Transmission Oil 8100?
- Developed for compatible wet dual-clutch transmissions
- Helps maintain smooth, precise gear changes
- Excellent protection against wear and corrosion
- Stable friction characteristics for clutch operation
- Good thermal and oxidation stability
- Helps protect gears, bearings and hydraulic components
- Suitable for demanding driving conditions
- Supports reliable transmission operation
Why Does Dual Clutch Transmission Oil Deteriorate?
Over time, repeated heating, mechanical friction and contamination can reduce the oil's protective properties.
Degraded fluid may contribute to harsh gear changes, clutch judder, increased transmission temperatures and accelerated wear of internal components.
When Should It Be Replaced?
Replace dual-clutch transmission oil according to the vehicle manufacturer's specified service schedule.
Earlier servicing may be required following transmission repairs, overheating or fluid contamination.
Symptoms such as delayed engagement, unusual gearbox noises or inconsistent shifting should prompt further diagnosis.
Specifications & Manufacturer Recommendations
LIQUI MOLY recommends Dual Clutch Transmission Oil 8100 for

Porsche Compatibility
LIQUI MOLY lists Porsche transmission fluid references 999.917.080.00 and 999.917.080.01 among its recommendations.
This makes the product a potential alternative for compatible Porsche PDK transmissions requiring these specifications. However, Porsche PDK systems can have separate lubrication circuits and different fluid requirements.
Always confirm the correct Porsche transmission specification, model year and service procedure before use.
Not suitable as a universal replacement for conventional automatic transmission fluid, manual gearbox oil or differential lubricant.
Installation & Service Notes
Follow the manufacturer's specified filling procedure, fluid temperature requirements and service intervals.
LIQUI MOLY recommends shaking the container before use and using the product unmixed for optimum performance.
