What This Product Does:
- Replace the rear brake discs/rotors, restoring a true, flat, even braking surface for the pads to clamp against.
- Replace the rear brake pads, which provide the friction material that presses onto the rotor to stop the vehicle.
- Potentially include wear sensors so the pad-wear monitoring system remains functional.
- Improve stopping performance, restore correct rear braking balance, reduce noise/vibration/pedal pulsation, and ensure rear brakes operate reliably under load and repeated stops.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Squealing or high-pitched noise when braking from the rear, especially under light braking (indicates worn pads or pad-to-rotor gap issues).
