What This Product Does:
- Replaces the rear brake rotors (the discs that the brake pads clamp onto) with new SHW units, restoring optimal rotor surface, correct thickness, and structural integrity.
- Replaces the rear brake pads, ensuring fresh friction material with full thickness and proper pad-to-rotor contact.
- Ensures the wear-monitoring system is intact (through the sensor/hardware included), so you get accurate pad wear warnings.
- Restores rear-brake stopping performance, improves pedal feel and braking balance, and reduces noise, vibration or heat-related issues in the rear axle.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Squealing, squeaking or high-pitched noises from the rear wheels when braking (indicating worn pads or pad material issues)
- Grinding or scraping noises during braking (pads worn to backing plate or rotor surface damaged)
- Brake pedal vibration or rear end judder when braking — often due to warped or uneven rotors
- Reduced rear braking performance — longer stopping distances, rear end stability compromised
