This Rear Brake Disc, Brake Pads & Wear Sensor Package is a complete rear braking service solution designed for select Porsche Cayenne 955 model. The kit includes all essential components required to restore safe, reliable, and factory-correct rear braking performance in one installation.
The package comprises a SHW rear brake disc (rotor), a TEXTAR rear brake pad set, and a brake pad wear sensor, ensuring proper braking function, smooth pedal feel, and accurate wear monitoring. Each component is manufactured to specifications, guaranteeing correct fitment, compatibility, and long service life.
The brake disc provides an efficient friction surface with proper heat dissipation, while the brake pads are formulated for consistent stopping power, low noise, and stable performance under normal and heavy braking conditions. The included wear sensor restores the dashboard warning system, alerting the driver when pad replacement is required.
Ideal for routine maintenance or full rear brake replacement, this kit ensures balanced braking performance, reduced noise and vibration, and confidence-inspiring stopping power.
Fits:
- Porsche 955 Cayenne S 4.5L V8 2003-06
- Porsche 955 Cayenne 3.2L V6 2003-06
- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo 4.5L 2003-06
What This Package Does:
- Restores full rear braking performance
- Provides smooth, consistent stopping power
- Reduces brake noise, vibration, and harshness
- Restores brake pad wear warning functionality
- Protects brake discs from damage caused by worn pads
Symptoms Of Brake Disc / Pad / Wear Sensor Failure:
- Squealing or screeching noises when braking
- Grinding or metallic noises (indicative of worn pads scraping the rotor)
- Brake dust buildup
- Reduced braking performance
- Dashboard wear warning light (triggered by sensor)
- Vibration or pulsation through the brake pedal
- Grooved, scored, or visibly worn rotor surface
- Blue discoloration (overheating)
- Reduced braking efficiency or “soft” feel
- Uneven pad wear
- Brake wear warning light on dashboard
- Inaccurate pad wear readings
- No wear alert even when pads are worn
Why Replacement Matters:
- Fresh brake pads and discs provide maximum friction and braking performance, which is essential for safe stopping distances, especially under load or high speeds.
- Worn brake pads can prematurely score and damage rotors. Replacing both together avoids costly follow-up repairs.
- New discs and pads reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), delivering a smooth pedal feel and stable stopping.
- The wear sensor ensures you receive timely alerts — replacing it maintains this system, preventing unsafe brake conditions.
