It is ideal for replacing dented, corroded or damaged original bezels during restoration or instrument refurbishment.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the speedometer within the dashboard.
- Provides a factory-style finish around the instrument.
- Protects the edge of the speedometer housing.
- Helps maintain correct instrument alignment.
- Restores the original appearance of the dashboard.
- Supports secure installation of the speedometer assembly.
- Replaces worn, damaged or corroded original bezels.
- Forms an essential part of the instrument panel assembly.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Dented or distorted bezel.
- Corrosion or tarnishing of the finish.
- Loose or poorly fitting speedometer.
- Scratches or cosmetic damage.
- Difficulty securing the instrument correctly.
- Gaps between the speedometer and dashboard.
- Vibrations or rattling from the instrument cluster.
- Damaged retaining edge.
- Reduced originality of the dashboard.
- Poor appearance during restoration.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The speedometer bezel is continually exposed to sunlight, temperature changes and general wear throughout the life of the vehicle. Over time, it can become scratched, dented, corroded or lose its original finish, affecting both the appearance and secure fitment of the instrument.
- A damaged bezel may allow the speedometer to become loose or misaligned, causing vibration and detracting from the quality of the dashboard. During restoration, worn instrument trim can significantly reduce the authentic appearance of an otherwise well-presented interior.
- Replacing a worn or damaged speedometer bezel restores the factory appearance and secure installation of the instrument cluster. The OE Match replacement provides OE-style fitment, premium-quality construction and long-lasting durability, making it the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, instrument refurbishment and preventative maintenance.
