RACETRACK USE ONLY
These components are designed and developed for racetrack use and to maximise the car's performance. They are not street legal and must be installed by professionals in the sector
CATALYTIC CONVERTER REDUCTION - 200 CELLS
Race catalytic converters have fewer cells than standard factory systems. This reduces exhaust back pressure while still maintaining the operation of the catalytic converter, and improves performance and sound
GASOLINE PARTICULATE FILTER - GPF REMOVAL
To reduce back pressure on the exhaust and increase noise output, this component removes the standard GPF.
ECU REMAPPING - FOR PERFORMANCE
On turbo cars, catalytic converter replacement may modify turbocharger operating conditions and cause a deterioration of the torque delivery curve. To ensure full benefit from the new racing component, the engine's ECU must be reprogrammed to maximise performance. If the engine warning light comes on, the ECU must always be reprogrammed to eliminate it
MATERIAL - AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL
A choice stainless steel ideal for aggressive environments where combustion emissions can cause serious chemical corrosion on other types of metal

Securely seal an unused oxygen sensor port with this OE Match Blanking Plug for Oxygen Sensor Hole. Designed for compatible exhaust applications, this plug is used when an oxygen (lambda) sensor mounting hole is present but a sensor is not required for the particular vehicle, exhaust configuration, testing setup or application.
M 18 x 1,5 x 18
23mm in length
Oxygen sensor ports are threaded openings in the exhaust system that normally accommodate a lambda sensor. When the port is not being used, it must be properly sealed. Leaving the opening exposed can allow hot exhaust gases to escape and may permit moisture and contamination to enter the exhaust system.
What This Product Does:
- Seals an unused oxygen or lambda sensor mounting hole.
- Prevents exhaust gases escaping through an unused sensor port.
- Helps maintain the integrity of the exhaust system.
- Protects the threaded sensor opening from dirt and contamination.
- Helps reduce moisture entering through an unused port.
- Allows an exhaust component with an oxygen sensor boss to be used where a sensor is not required.
- Provides a removable solution if an oxygen sensor is required later.
- Replaces a missing, damaged or corroded blanking plug.
- Provides an OE-style solution for compatible exhaust applications.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Exhaust gases leaking around the plug.
- A ticking or blowing noise from the oxygen sensor port.
- Black soot deposits around the plug or threaded opening.
- A strong exhaust smell near the affected area.
- The plug has become loose.
- Visible corrosion or deterioration.
- Damaged or stripped plug threads.
- A plug that can no longer be securely tightened.
- The original blanking plug is missing.
- An oxygen sensor has been removed and the port remains open.
- Heat or exhaust staining around the sensor boss.
Why Replacement Matters:
- An unused oxygen sensor hole should never be left open during normal engine operation. Exhaust gases are extremely hot and can escape through the opening at high velocity, potentially damaging nearby components and creating excessive noise.
- An exhaust leak can also affect the correct operation of the exhaust system. Depending on the location of the unused port and the vehicle's configuration, unwanted air entering the exhaust may also interfere with exhaust-gas measurements or diagnostic testing.
- The threaded sensor boss itself can deteriorate if left exposed. Dirt, moisture and corrosion may damage the threads, making installation of a future oxygen sensor more difficult or requiring repair of the sensor mounting point.
- A loose or damaged plug can produce similar problems. Soot deposits around the port are often an indication that combustion gases are escaping past the sealing surface or threads.

The Fabspeed Porsche 911 Carrera European Pre-Muffler Pipe is a performance exhaust upgrade designed for classic Porsche 911 SC and Carrera models from 1976–1989.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 1976-1977 2.7L / 1976-77 3.0 Carrera
- Porsche 911 1978-1983 3.0L / SC
- Porsche 911 1984-1986 3.2L
- Porsche 911 1987-1989 3.2L G50
Based on the European pre-muffler concept, this component replaces the original catalytic converter with a freer-flowing, resonated exhaust section. The result is reduced exhaust restriction, improved throttle response, reduced weight and a stronger air-cooled flat-six exhaust note.
Unlike a simple straight catalyst bypass pipe, the Fabspeed European Pre-Muffler incorporates a straight-through resonator with stainless-steel wool packing. This helps produce a deeper, more refined performance exhaust tone while reducing the harsh rasp often associated with completely straight-piped exhaust systems.
What This Product Does:
The pre-muffler replaces the factory catalytic converter section of the exhaust system.
Instead of forcing exhaust gases through the restrictive catalyst substrate, the Fabspeed pipe provides a freer-flowing route towards the rear muffler.
This is designed to:
- Reduce exhaust restriction
- Improve exhaust-gas flow
- Reduce backpressure
- Improve throttle response
- Increase horsepower and torque potential
- Reduce exhaust-system weight
- Increase exhaust volume
- Enhance the classic air-cooled flat-six sound
Because the original catalytic converter is removed, the component no longer provides the emissions-treatment function of the factory catalyst.
Resonated European Design:
- Rather than using a completely empty straight pipe, Fabspeed incorporates a straight-through resonator.
- The resonator allows exhaust gases to travel through the system with minimal restriction while controlling some of the undesirable frequencies produced by an unrestricted exhaust.
- Its stainless-steel wool packing helps create a deeper, more purposeful exhaust character without the excessive rasp commonly associated with a basic straight catalyst-delete pipe.
Performance Benefits:
Fabspeed states that the European Pre-Muffler provides 16+ wheel horsepower and 15+ ft-lb of torque, together with significantly improved throttle response.
During Fabspeed DynoJet testing, peak curve gains of up to 21 WHP and 17 ft-lb at approximately 4,500 rpm were recorded, with maximum power increases of approximately 16 WHP and 16 ft-lb.
These are manufacturer-reported figures from a specific test vehicle and should not be considered guaranteed results for every Porsche 911.
Actual performance can vary depending on:
- Engine condition
- Engine specification
- Existing exhaust system
- Intake modifications
- Fuel system condition
- Ignition condition
- Engine tuning
- Fuel quality
- Ambient conditions
- Testing equipment and procedure
Why Upgrading Matters:
This product is primarily a performance exhaust modification, rather than a routine service replacement.
The original catalyst does not need to have failed before the Fabspeed pre-muffler can be installed on a vehicle intended for appropriate competition or off-road use.
Reasons for upgrading include:
- Reduced exhaust restriction
- Improved exhaust flow
- Increased horsepower potential
- Increased torque potential
- Sharper throttle response
- Approx. 8 lb weight reduction
- Stronger air-cooled flat-six sound
- Resonated design to control rasp
- T304L stainless-steel construction
- Straightforward bolt-on installation

Featuring a 300-cell high-flow catalytic converter and mandrel-bent T304L stainless-steel construction, the Sport Cat is designed to reduce exhaust restriction while retaining catalytic exhaust-gas treatment.
Compared with the original catalytic converter, the Fabspeed Sport Cat provides improved exhaust flow, sharper throttle response, reduced weight and a slightly stronger air-cooled flat-six exhaust note.
What This Product Does:
The catalytic converter is part of the vehicle's exhaust and emissions-control system.
Exhaust gases produced during combustion contain pollutants that pass through the catalyst before leaving the exhaust system. The catalytic converter uses its internal catalyst substrate to convert harmful exhaust compounds into less harmful emissions.
The Fabspeed Sport Cat performs this basic catalytic function while using a higher-flow design intended to create less exhaust restriction than the original factory converter.
It is designed to provide:
- Catalytic exhaust-gas treatment
- Improved exhaust flow
- Reduced exhaust backpressure
- Improved throttle response
- Reduced exhaust-system weight
- Slightly increased horsepower and torque
- A sportier exhaust tone
- A modern replacement for an ageing original catalyst
300-Cell High-Flow Catalyst:
- The Sport Cat uses a 300-cell high-flow catalytic converter.
- The catalyst contains a structured internal substrate that provides the surface required for catalytic reactions while allowing exhaust gases to pass through the system.
- Compared with an older and more restrictive factory catalyst, the high-flow design is intended to reduce resistance to exhaust-gas movement.
- This can help the engine breathe more efficiently while retaining a catalytic converter in the exhaust system.
Performance Benefits:
Fabspeed reports gains of approximately:
Wheel Horsepower: +2 WHP
Torque: +2 ft-lb
Weight Reduction: Approx. 9 lb / 4.1 kg
The primary performance benefit is reduced exhaust restriction and improved throttle response rather than a dramatic increase in peak horsepower.
These are manufacturer-reported figures from specific testing and should not be considered guaranteed results for every vehicle.
Actual performance can vary depending on:
- Engine condition
- Engine specification
- Existing exhaust system
- Intake modifications
- Fuel and ignition condition
- Engine tuning
- Fuel quality
- Ambient conditions
- Testing equipment and procedure
Why Upgrading Matters:
The original catalytic converter does not necessarily need to have failed before a Sport Cat is installed.
The Fabspeed unit can also be selected as a performance exhaust upgrade.
Potential benefits include:
- 300-cell high-flow catalyst
- Reduced exhaust restriction
- Improved throttle response
- Slight horsepower and torque improvement
- Approx. 9 lb weight saving
- Sportier exhaust tone
- T304L stainless-steel construction
- Integrated O2 sensor bung
- Direct bolt-on installation
- No cutting or welding required
This makes the Sport Cat particularly relevant for owners who want a freer-flowing catalytic exhaust configuration rather than using a completely catless bypass pipe.
