The Spring Plate Rubber Bushing Kit, Sport-Harder Rubbers is designed as a suspension upgrade for classic Porsche models. Unlike standard bushings, this kit uses harder rubber compounds for improved performance.
Functions Include:
- Enhanced Suspension Control – Reduces unwanted flex in the spring plates.
- Sharper Handling – Keeps the suspension geometry more precise during hard driving.
- Reduced Deflection – harder rubber means less “squish” compared to standard bushings.
- Durable Construction – longer-lasting than softer standard rubber under performance use.
- Rear suspension clunking or knocking under load.
- Loose or unstable handling, especially in corners.
- Poor alignment and uneven tyre wear.
- Excessive body movement when accelerating or braking.
- Cracked or deteriorated bushings visible on inspection.
- For Enthusiasts – Ideal if you want a sportier, more connected feel without going to solid or polyurethane mounts.
- Balanced Upgrade – Stiffer than standard bushings, but still offers some compliance for road use.
- Improves Driving Dynamics – Better response during acceleration, braking, and cornering.
