Precision-machined to OE dimensions, it provides direct replacement fitment and integrates seamlessly with the original injector mounting hardware, making it ideal during injector replacement, engine repairs or fuel system servicing.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the fuel injector in the cylinder head.
- Maintains the correct injector position and alignment.
- Applies the specified clamping force to the injector.
- Helps ensure a leak-free injector seal.
- Prevents injector movement caused by engine vibration.
- Supports accurate fuel delivery and combustion.
- Restores factory injector mounting performance.
- Forms an essential part of the engine fuel injection system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Loose or incorrectly seated fuel injector.
- Fuel leaks around the injector.
- Compression leakage at the injector seat.
- Rough idle or engine misfires.
- Reduced engine performance.
- Fuel smell from the engine bay.
- Visible corrosion, cracking or distortion of the plate.
- Damaged or worn injector retaining hardware.
- Increased engine vibration.
- Difficulty securing the injector during servicing.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The injector tensioning plate is continually exposed to engine heat, vibration and mechanical loading while maintaining the correct clamping force on the fuel injector. Over time, corrosion, fatigue or physical damage can reduce its strength, preventing the injector from being held securely in position.
- A damaged or weakened tensioning plate can allow injector movement, resulting in fuel leaks, poor injector sealing and inconsistent fuel delivery. If left unresolved, this can lead to rough engine operation, reduced performance, increased emissions and potential damage to the injector or cylinder head.
- Replacing a worn or damaged tensioning plate with a Genuine Porsche component restores the correct injector retention and sealing performance. Manufactured to Porsche's exact engineering standards, the Genuine Porsche Tensioning Plate for Injector provides factory-correct fitment, exceptional durability and dependable long-term reliability, helping maintain the efficiency, safety and performance expected from your Porsche.
