The kit helps maintain correct camshaft timing, belt routing, and belt tension within the engine timing system. The timing cam belt synchronises crankshaft and camshaft movement, while the tensioner roller and idler roller guide and support the belt as it operates.
Functions

• Includes camshaft tensioner roller
• Includes camshaft idler roller
• Supports correct camshaft timing
• Helps maintain proper belt tension and belt tracking
• Replaces worn, noisy, rough, seized, or aged timing components

Why Replace This Kit?
Timing belt and roller components are exposed to heat, age, mileage, engine load, and constant rotation. A worn timing belt can crack, stretch, lose teeth, or fail without warning, while worn rollers can become noisy, rough, loose, or seized. Replacing the belt and rollers together helps protect the timing system and supports reliable engine operation.

• The timing belt service interval is due
• The timing belt is cracked, worn, contaminated, stretched, or aged
• Rollers are noisy, rough, loose, or seized
• Belt tracking or tension issues are present
• Front engine timing components are being serviced
• Preventative replacement is being carried out during major maintenance
• The vehicle is undergoing Porsche 928 engine service or restoration.
Where it fits on the car
