Featuring patented Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA)
technology and progressive performance springs, the system provides responsive
suspension control while retaining compatibility with the factory Porsche
Active Suspension Management (PASM) system.
Designed primarily for road use, with additional performance for occasional track driving, it offers an excellent balance between everyday comfort and precise handling.
What Is the TracTive Touring Line?
TracTive Touring Line is an advanced electronically adjustable suspension range developed for drivers seeking improved comfort without compromising handling performance.
Unlike fixed-damping coilovers, Touring Line uses electronically controlled valves to regulate suspension damping in response to changing driving conditions.
Combined with progressive springs and adjustable ride height, the system delivers improved ride quality, stability and driver confidence.
Why Upgrade to TracTive Touring Line Suspension?
Although the Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman already offer
excellent handling, TracTive Touring Line provides several advantages:
- Improved Ride Comfort – More compliant suspension over uneven roads and rough surfaces.
- Enhanced Handling – Greater body control during cornering, braking and acceleration.
- Faster Damping Response – Electronic valves react quickly to suspension movement.
- Factory PASM Integration – Retains the original Porsche suspension modes and controls.
- Adjustable Ride Height – Allows suspension height to be tailored to driving requirements and appearance.
- Improved Road & Track Balance – Designed for comfortable everyday driving with occasional track capability.
- Progressive Springs – Provide a balance of everyday comfort and support under higher suspension loads.
Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA) Technology
TracTive's patented DDA technology uses electronically controlled valves to regulate oil flow within each shock absorber.
With a response time of just 6–10 milliseconds between fully soft and fully firm, the system provides exceptionally fast damping adjustment.
This helps maintain tyre contact, reduce unnecessary body movement and improve stability over changing road surfaces.
Porsche PASM Plug & Play Compatibility
The Touring Line suspension connects directly to the original Porsche PASM system using factory electrical connectors.
The existing Porsche suspension modes remain operational, allowing the driver to control the upgraded dampers through the original vehicle controls.
No additional suspension cancellation modules, replacement electronic controllers or modifications to the original wiring harness are required.
Touring Line Road-Focused Suspension Design
Unlike the more track-focused TracTive Track Line, Touring Line prioritises comfort and everyday road performance.
The system features progressive springs, electronically adjustable damping and height-adjustable coilovers.
It provides improved control and stability without the firmer, more aggressive suspension characteristics associated with dedicated track suspension systems.
Designed for compatible Porsche 718 models originally equipped with electronically controlled PASM suspension.
