TracTive Track Line Plug & Play Electronic Suspension Kit – for cars with PASM
The TracTive Track Line Plug & Play Electronic
Suspension Kit is a motorsport-inspired suspension upgrade designed to improve
handling, stability and driving precision on Porsche 997.2 Carrera 2 and
Carrera 2S models.
Fits:
- Porsche 997 MKII Carrera C2 3.6L 2009-12
- Porsche 997 MKII Carrera C2S 3.8L 2009-12
Featuring patented Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA) technology, Eibach Racing springs and adjustable suspension geometry, the system delivers precise damping control for demanding road driving and regular track use.
Designed for drivers seeking improved track performance while retaining occasional road usability.
What Is the TracTive Track Line?
TracTive Track Line is a high-performance electronic suspension range developed for drivers who regularly use their vehicles on the circuit.
Unlike the comfort-focused Touring Line, Track Line features firmer linear racing springs, motorsport-derived dampers and adjustable top mounts.
The system offers greater suspension control and setup flexibility, allowing drivers to optimise handling for demanding road and track conditions.
Why Upgrade to TracTive Track Line Suspension?
Although the Porsche 997.2 Carrera already provides
excellent handling, TracTive Track Line offers several advantages:
- Improved Handling – Greater precision during high-speed cornering, braking and acceleration.
- Enhanced Track Performance – Motorsport-developed dampers provide consistent control under demanding conditions.
- Faster Damping Response – Electronic valves react rapidly to suspension movement.
- Adjustable Ride Height – Allows suspension height to be tailored for road or circuit use.
- Improved Tyre Contact – Helps maintain grip and stability during aggressive driving.
- Adjustable Suspension Geometry – Front top mounts allow additional camber and alignment adjustments.
- Motorsport Construction – Lightweight, high-strength components designed for performance driving.
Dynamic Damping Adjustment (DDA) Technology
TracTive's patented DDA technology uses electronically controlled valves to regulate oil flow inside each shock absorber.
With a response time of just 6–10 milliseconds between fully soft and fully firm, the system delivers exceptionally fast damping adjustment.
This helps reduce unwanted body movement, maintain tyre contact and improve handling consistency during demanding driving.
Porsche PASM Plug & Play Compatibility
The Track Line suspension is developed for Porsche 997 Carrera models originally equipped with electronically controlled PASM suspension.
The dampers use factory-compatible electrical connectors, allowing installation without modifications to the original vehicle wiring harness.
TracTive states that its Plug & Play systems retain original suspension driving modes. However, the individual product description also references a programmable replacement suspension controller for advanced damping adjustment through a USB connection.
The required controller configuration should be confirmed before installation.
Track-Focused Suspension Design
TracTive Track Line combines motorsport-derived shock absorber construction with Eibach linear racing springs and helper springs.
The system features inverted front struts, high-flow pistons and low-friction seals, helping deliver precise suspension response.
Adjustable front top mounts provide additional suspension geometry tuning, while height-adjustable coilovers allow individual vehicle setup adjustments.
