Each component is manufactured to OE Match quality, engineered to match the original Porsche factory specifications for fit, sealing, and function.
Together, these components form the bottom containment and primary fluid filtration interface of the automatic transmission:
• The sump plate holds and protects the transmission fluid
• The oil strainer screens debris before fluid enters the transmission pump
• The sump gasket ensures fluid remains sealed at the interface.
Proper installation of all three parts is critical during fluid change, transmission servicing, or when diagnosing fluid leaks and transmission performance issues.
These parts are essential to the health and longevity of the automatic transmission. Over time:
• The sump plate can dent or warp and develop leaks
• The sump gasket can compress, harden, or fail, allowing fluid leaks
• The oil strainer can clog with debris, reducing fluid flow.
A compromised sump area can lead to low fluid levels, leakage, poor shifting behaviour, overheating, and transmission damage. APPLICATION:
Designed for the lubrication of competition gearboxes. Manual transmissions, synchromesh, non-synchromesh, sequential gearboxes, transfer gearboxes, transaxles and hypoid differentials without limited slip which require API GL4 or GL5 performance.
