What This Product Does:
- Replaces worn or heat-damaged rear brake discs
- Restores smooth, confident braking with new rear brake pads
- Ensures accurate wear warnings via a new rear brake sensor
- Reduces brake noise, vibration, and rear-axle judder
- Improves stopping distance and brake stability
- Restores factory braking performance and pedal feel
- Maintains proper left–right braking balance
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Squealing, screeching, or grinding noises from the rear
- Vibration or pulsation through the brake pedal
- Longer stopping distances or weak braking response
- Brake warning light triggered by worn pads or sensor failure
- Visible rotor wear (grooves, heat spots, cracks, scoring)
- Soft or inconsistent pedal feel
- Excessive brake dust or uneven pad wear
- Rear-end instability or “wiggle” under braking
Why Replacement Matters:
- Rear brakes play a crucial role in overall braking balance. Fresh pads and discs restore safe, predictable braking performance.
- New rotors and pads return your Porsche’s braking smoothness, bite, and stability to factory standards.
- Worn pads can gouge and overheat rotors; warped rotors quickly damage new pads. Replacing all components prevents these costly issues.
- Fresh discs and pads remove brake squeal, judder, and pedal pulsation.
- A new sensor ensures the dashboard warning system correctly alerts you when pads reach minimum thickness.
- Replacing rotors, pads, and sensors together avoids repeated labour costs and ensures even wear across the axle.
- Properly functioning brakes preserve the long-term reliability and resale value of the Porsche 991 platform.
