2” lift kit with subframe drop kit for Porsche 996
Introducing the 996 Bolt-On Lift Kit, compatible with the C2, C4, and Turbo chassis. This kit mounts directly onto the top of the struts in conjunction with our subframe drop system, providing approximately 2 inches of additional lift. This enhancement improves ground clearance while preserving the vehicle's original ride quality.
The kit is engineered to work seamlessly with both OEM struts and aftermarket coilovers. The front upper mounts are designed as a two-piece system to facilitate camber adjustments when necessary. Additionally, while the OEM strut towers permit minor adjustments, our mounts are specifically designed to allow for increased negative camber if required.
Subframe drop kit
When lifting a 996 chassis, the extra height required for taller tires will increase axle geometry. Adding a subframe drop will improve axle performance and longevity. It will also allow for more suspension travel and relocate control arms for better geometry.
Designed for Porsche 996 Overland/Safari projects.
Spacers are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum then gray anodized for protection.
Hardware is 10.9-12.9 custom built from scratch. No universal threaded rod. All zinc coated for lifetime of corrosion resistance.
Kit Includes:
2 x Front Lift Spacers
2 x Rear Lift Spacers
18 x Subframe Spacers ( 4 sizes)

Porsche Safari Look Conversion Kits - Rally-Inspired Off-Road Styling
Porsche Safari Look conversion kits recreate the rugged, rally-inspired styling made famous by Porsche’s off-road competition history. Drawing inspiration from iconic Safari Rally and desert racing 911s, this look blends raised stance, protective bodywork, and purposeful detailing into a unique and adventurous Porsche aesthetic.
At Design911, our Safari Look kits allow enthusiasts to transform classic and later-model Porsche 911s into visually authentic, off-road-inspired builds—combining classic rally character with modern reliability and everyday usability.
What Do Porsche Safari Look Kits Do?
Safari Look kits convert standard Porsche 911s into rally-inspired, adventure-ready builds.
Core Functions:

- Add protective and rally-style exterior components
- Enhance visual toughness and motorsport character
- Allow fitment of all-terrain or rally-style wheels and tyres
- Deliver a distinctive Porsche rally aesthetic
These conversions celebrate Porsche’s lesser-known but legendary off-road heritage.
Why Do Porsche Safari Look Kits Fail?
Not all Safari-style conversions deliver the durability or authenticity required.
Common Failure Causes:
- Poor-quality materials unable to withstand outdoor use
- Inaccurate rally styling that looks cosmetic rather than functional

Inferior kits can compromise both appearance and real-world usability.

Upgrading ensures durability, authenticity, and proper rally character.
Upgrade Benefits:
- Stronger materials suited to rugged environments
- Improved fitment and structural integrity
- More authentic rally-inspired styling details
