For the 2022 model year, Porsche introduced another facelift for the 95B.3 Macan lineup, featuring more powerful engines, a refreshed design, and an improved interior. The updated range includes a new front fascia with a redesigned spoiler, characteristic Macan side blades in new styles, and a revamped rear fascia and diffuser. Standard features now include a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-speaker audio system, and LED headlights. The interior enhancements include a new center console with a shorter gear selector and touch buttons instead of physical ones, aiming to enhance the driver’s experience and create a cleaner, sharper look.
The base turbocharged 2.0ltr four-cylinder engine, newly developed for this update, now produces 261 horsepower. This engine enables the base Macan to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 144 mph. It pairs with the seven-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system.
This base model is the best-selling variant, accounting for around 60 percent of Macan sales.
