Information
Engine mount set
This OE Match engine mount set is designed for Porsche 911 (997.2) Carrera and 997.2 Turbo models without PADM. The kit includes two OE Match engine mounts along with the correct genuine Porsche hexagon bolts and nuts required for a secure, factory-spec installation. Replacing both mounts at the same time restores proper engine support and ensures balanced vibration damping across the drivetrain.
SET OF 2, with bolt and nuts
Fits:
Porsche 997.2 Carrera 2009 - 2012 COUPE
Porsche 997.2 Turbo 2010 - 2013 COUPE without PADM (dynamic engine mounts)
Diagram Ref No 2, 3 and 5
Engine mounts are essential for supporting the engine while isolating vibration and maintaining proper drivetrain alignment.
Kit Includes
2 × OE Match Engine Mount – 99737504908
4 × Genuine Porsche Hexagon Bolt – 90037815901
2 × Genuine Porsche Sleeve / Nut – 9A137542501
This kit contains everything needed to replace both engine mounts during servicing or drivetrain maintenance.
Engine mounts are structural components that connect the engine assembly to the vehicle chassis and rear subframe. The OE Match mount replicates the original Porsche hydraulic mount used in the 997 platform, providing the correct fit, durability and vibration-damping characteristics.
The mounts help stabilise the engine while absorbing drivetrain vibrations generated during acceleration, braking and gear changes. Supplied with genuine Porsche bolts and nuts, this kit ensures proper torque specification and reliable installation.
Function
• Engine Support: Secures the engine to the chassis and rear subframe
• Vibration Isolation: Hydraulic design absorbs engine vibration and noise
• Drivetrain Stability: Maintains correct engine alignment during load changes
• Component Protection: Reduces stress on transmission and exhaust components
Engine mounts are exposed to constant heat, vibration and engine torque. Over time the internal rubber and hydraulic elements can degrade, leading to increased engine movement, cabin vibration and knocking noises during acceleration or shifting.
Replacing worn mounts with a matched OE Match set restores proper drivetrain stability and helps maintain the refined driving characteristics expected from a Porsche.
Replace the engine mounts if you notice:
• Increased vibration inside the cabin
• Clunking or knocking during acceleration or gear changes
• Excessive engine movement when revving
• Visible wear, cracking or leakage from the mount
