Brake disc retaining screw is an extended length fixing screw designed specifically for Porsche vehicles fitted with factory 5mm wheel spacers. It secures the brake disc (rotor) to the wheel hub, ensuring correct disc positioning during wheel installation and brake servicing. On vehicles equipped with factory spacers, standard-length disc screws are too short to achieve proper thread engagement. This longer version compensates for the additional spacer thickness, allowing the brake disc to seat correctly against the hub and remain accurately aligned until the wheel bolts are installed. Manufactured to Porsche factory dimensions and thread specification, this screw provides correct fitment, corrosion resistance, and reliable retention during service and assembly. It is a critical but often overlooked component when working on cars with OEM wheel spacers.
