Information
Drop link rear
The 93033307101 (Left) and 93033307201 (Right) rear drop links are OE-style rear anti-roll bar connecting links designed for Porsche 911 and 930 Turbo models from 1978 to 1989. These suspension links connect the rear anti-roll bar (stabiliser bar) to the rear suspension assembly, helping reduce body roll and maintain stable handling characteristics.
Fits:
Porsche 911 1978 - 1989
Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3L 1978 - 1989
Diagram ref no 12
The rear drop links connect the anti-roll bar to the rear suspension system, transferring stabilising forces during cornering and suspension movement. They help reduce chassis roll, improve steering response, and maintain stable rear suspension geometry.
Function
• Connect rear anti-roll bar to suspension assembly
• Transfer stabilising forces during cornering
• Reduce body roll and rear-end movement
• Improve handling precision and chassis balance
• Support stable tyre contact and suspension geometry
Rear stabiliser links are constantly subjected to suspension movement, cornering force, vibration, and road impact. Over time, the rubber joints and link assemblies can wear or loosen, causing excessive play within the anti-roll bar system. A worn drop link may lead to suspension knocking noises, reduced cornering stability, increased body roll, or vague rear-end handling. Replacing worn drop links restores suspension precision and improves driving confidence.
When to Replace
• Knocking or clunking noises from rear suspension
• Excessive body roll during cornering
• Rear-end instability or vague handling
• Worn or cracked anti-roll bar bushings
• During suspension overhaul or anti-roll bar servicing
