The Fabspeed Porsche 964 Carrera European Pre-Muffler / Cat Bypass Pipe is a performance exhaust component designed to replace the factory catalytic converter with a freer-flowing exhaust section for competition and off-road applications.

Inspired by the European-style pre-muffler configuration, the pipe reduces the restriction associated with the original catalytic converter while incorporating an internal resonator to help shape the exhaust note.
Manufactured from T304L stainless steel, this lightweight exhaust upgrade is designed to improve exhaust flow, enhance throttle response and produce a stronger, more sporting air-cooled flat-six exhaust character.
Because this component removes the catalytic converter, it is intended for competition and off-road use only where legally permitted.
What This Product Does:
The standard catalytic converter processes exhaust gases to reduce harmful emissions before they leave the vehicle.
For competition applications, the Fabspeed European Pre-Muffler replaces this catalytic converter with a much freer-flowing exhaust path.
Removing the catalyst restriction allows exhaust gases to pass through the system more easily.
The pre-muffler is designed to:
