The floor pan forms an important part of the vehicle's lower body shell. Replacing severely weakened or damaged metal helps restore a solid floor structure, provides sound joining surfaces for surrounding panels and creates a strong foundation for long-term corrosion protection.

The rear floor pan forms part of the lower body structure of the Porsche 911.
It creates a solid floor section while connecting with and supporting surrounding areas of the body shell.
