Rubber sleeve for air intake.
This sleeve joins intake components and prevents unmetered air leaks. A proper seal supports correct air-fuel mixture control, smooth running, and reliable performance.

Installed between intake pipes/ducting components, the sleeve absorbs vibration and minor movement while keeping the intake tract sealed. It helps protect against vacuum leaks that can cause rough idle, hesitation, or fault codes.
Aging intake rubber can crack, harden, or split from heat and oil vapours, leading to air leaks and unstable engine running. Replacing worn sleeves restores proper sealing, helping maintain correct airflow measurement and drivability.
When to replace:
• Visible cracks, splits, or swelling in the rubber
• Loose fitment or air leaks at the coupling points
• Rough idle, hesitation, or lean-running symptoms (after inspection)
• During intake service or when replacing adjacent intake hoses/boots
• Excessive hardening or deterioration from heat/oil exposure
