Shift rod lever ball bushing.
High-quality replacement ball bushing manufactured to match to OEM Porsche specifications used in the Porsche 914. It maintains correct shift rod alignment and ensures smooth gear engagement by reducing movement at the linkage pivot point.

This bushing fits at the pivot / ball joint between the shift rod and lever (or shift linkage) in the transmission control system. It provides a smooth, low-friction interface for the shift linkage ball to move. It helps maintain rigid alignment while allowing the necessary articulation during gear changes. A properly fitting bushing reduces backlash, noise, and wear in the shift linkage system.
Why replacement matters:
• Over time, original bushings wear out, deform, or deteriorate (often from age, heat, or friction), causing looseness or play in the shift linkage.
