It serves as the primary connection point between the suspension strut assembly and the chassis, helping to maintain proper suspension geometry and vehicle handling characteristics.
What This Product Does:
- Secures the front shock absorber assembly to the chassis.
- Supports suspension loads during driving.
- Absorbs and isolates noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
- Maintains correct suspension alignment and geometry.
- Allows controlled movement of the suspension assembly.
- Contributes to precise steering response and vehicle handling.
- Helps protect surrounding suspension components from excessive stress
- Supports ride comfort and driving stability.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Clunking or knocking noises from the front suspension.
- Excessive vibration transmitted into the cabin.
- Poor ride quality or harsh suspension operation.
- Wandering or instability during driving.
- Reduced steering precision.
- Uneven tyre wear.
- Visible cracking or separation of the rubber mount.
- Excessive movement within the suspension assembly.
- Misalignment of suspension components.
- Premature wear of shock absorbers and associated parts.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Front shock absorber supporting mounts are subjected to constant suspension movement, road impacts, cornering forces and environmental exposure. Over time, the rubber isolator can deteriorate, crack or separate from its housing, while the mount itself may suffer from fatigue and wear.
- A worn supporting mount can negatively affect suspension performance, steering accuracy and ride comfort. Excessive movement within the mount can place additional strain on shock absorbers, springs and steering components, potentially leading to accelerated wear and costly repairs.
- Replacing a worn or damaged shock absorber supporting mount restores proper suspension support, improves ride quality and maintains precise vehicle handling. An OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, dependable vibration isolation and long-lasting durability, helping preserve the comfort, safety and performance characteristics expected from your Porsche.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Clunking, knocking or creaking noises from the front suspension.
- Increased vibration transmitted through the steering wheel or cabin.
- Poor ride quality or harsh suspension operation.
- Wandering or instability while driving.
- Reduced steering accuracy and responsiveness.
- Uneven tyre wear patterns.
- Visible cracks or deterioration in the rubber mount.
- Excessive movement within the suspension assembly.
- Suspension misalignment.
- Premature wear of shocks, struts or associated suspension components.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The front supporting top mount is subjected to constant suspension movement, road impacts, steering forces and environmental exposure throughout its service life. Over time, the rubber isolator can deteriorate, harden or separate from the metal housing, reducing its ability to absorb vibration and properly support the suspension assembly.
- A worn top mount can negatively affect ride quality, steering precision and overall handling performance. Excessive movement within the mount may also place additional stress on shock absorbers, springs and steering components, accelerating wear and increasing maintenance costs.
- Replacing a worn or damaged front supporting top mount restores proper suspension support, improves driving comfort and helps maintain accurate suspension geometry. An OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, dependable durability and effective vibration isolation, ensuring your Porsche continues to deliver the ride quality, handling characteristics and performance expected from the marque.
