The OE Match Front Wiper Arm, Silver (90162893000/1) is a high-quality replacement windscreen wiper arm designed to restore the original appearance and wiping performance of compatible classic Porsche models. Manufactured to OE specifications for fit, strength and finish, this silver-finished wiper arm provides secure attachment of the wiper blade while maintaining the correct contact pressure across the windscreen for efficient, streak-free wiping.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 1965-1968 2.0L / 912 SWB (F)
Constructed from high-strength steel with a durable corrosion-resistant silver finish, the wiper arm is engineered to withstand repeated operation, changing weather conditions and prolonged exposure to moisture and UV light. Precision-manufactured to ensure factory-style fitment, it offers reliable performance and is an ideal replacement for bent, corroded or worn original wiper arms.
What This Product Does:
- Supports and secures the front windscreen wiper blade.
- Maintains the correct contact pressure against the windscreen.
- Ensures smooth and consistent wiping performance.
- Provides even blade movement across the windscreen.
- Helps remove rain, dirt and road debris effectively.
- Restores the original appearance of the vehicle's wiper system.
- Supports safe visibility in adverse weather conditions.
- Forms an essential part of the windscreen wiping system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Uneven or incomplete wiping.
- Wiper blade lifting away from the windscreen.
- Bent or distorted wiper arm.
- Excessive movement or looseness on the spindle.
- Corrosion or rust on the arm.
- Chattering or skipping during operation.
- Poor blade contact causing streaking.
- Damaged spring reducing wiping pressure.
- Loose or worn mounting splines
- Deteriorated cosmetic finish.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The front wiper arm is subjected to continuous use and constant exposure to rain, sunlight, road salt and changing temperatures. Over time, corrosion, weakened spring tension or accidental damage can reduce its ability to hold the wiper blade firmly against the windscreen.
- A worn or damaged wiper arm can result in poor wiping performance, reduced visibility and accelerated wear of the wiper blade. In severe cases, a loose or damaged arm may fail to operate correctly, compromising driver safety during wet weather.
- Replacing the front wiper arm restores the correct wiping pressure, improves windscreen clearing performance and enhances the appearance of the vehicle. The OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, durable corrosion-resistant construction and long-lasting reliability, helping maintain the safety, functionality and classic styling expected from your Porsche.
