Heater tube set that fit inside the rear side members. Fits inside 91150101146GRV/1 and 91150101246GRV/1
Our new heater tubing allows you to restore the connection from the heater valve in the engine bay to the front of the car. This tubing runs inside the reinforcement side member on both sides of the car, through the sills and is typically a challenging part to manufacture.
The new DANSK parts save you significant fabrication time and ensure your repair and restoration are faster and in line with original specifications

This Heater Tube Inside Sill is a Genuine Porsche OE component designed to route heated air through the inner sill section of classic air-cooled Porsche 911 models from 1969 to 1989. The heater tube carries warm air produced by the engine’s heat exchangers through the sill cavity toward the cabin ventilation system.
Fits:
Porsche 911 1969 - 1989
Diagram ref no 15
Function: Installed inside the vehicle’s sill structure, the tube forms a critical part of the classic 911 heating system. It channels heated air forward into the cabin ducting, supporting effective interior heating, windscreen demisting, and overall comfort in cooler conditions.
Over time, original heater tubes can degrade due to heat cycles, age, and corrosion, resulting in reduced airflow or heat loss before reaching the cabin. In severe cases, damaged ducting may allow unwanted fumes or debris into the heating system. Replacing the tube with a Genuine Porsche part restores factory heating efficiency, preserves originality, and ensures long-term reliability of the heating system.
Replace this heater tube if you notice:
• Weak or uneven heater output
• Cracked, brittle, or collapsed ducting
• Heat loss before air reaches the cabin
• Unpleasant odours from the heating system
• During restoration or refurbishment of the sill or heating system

This heating tube inside sill is a high-quality replacement air-duct tube designed to channel warm air from the exhaust-heated heating system through the sill area of classic Porsche 911 models built from 1969 through 1989 and 356 B/C models. It matches the original part’s fit and performance to maintain proper heating airflow in your vehicle’s cabin.
Fits:
Porsche 356 B/C 1.6 01/1959 - 12/1965
Porsche 911 2.0-3.3 08/1968 - 07/1989
Porsche 912 1.6 01/1965 - 02/1970
Porsche 914 1.7-2.0 01/1969 - 07/1974
Diagram ref no 15
The heating tube directs hot air generated by the engine’s exhaust-heated heat exchangers into the cabin area via the sill ducting. This ensures your classic Porsche’s heater system distributes warmth effectively, improving defogging, defrosting, and passenger comfort in cooler weather.
Function: Installed along the inner sill section, this tube captures heat from the heater system and delivers it through the duct network into the footwell or cabin air distribution points. A properly functioning heater tube helps maintain consistent cabin temperature and prevents heat loss due to damage or age-related degradation of the original ducting.
Over decades of use, original heater tubes can become cracked, brittle, or collapsed, leading to poor airflow, heat loss, or even exhaust gas intrusion into the cabin air system. Replacing the deteriorated tube with an OE Match unit restores effective hot-air distribution, improves cabin comfort and heater efficiency, and keeps the vintage heating system functioning as intended.
Replace this heating tube when you notice:
• Weak or inconsistent warm air delivery from the heater
• Deteriorated, cracked, or collapsed heater tubing
• Excessive heat loss before reaching the cabin
• Unusual smells from heater ducts (possible leaks)
• During full heater system or sill restoration work

Our new, Gen 2 fresh air blower assembly for Porsche 911 models is designed to replace the ancient and noisy original fresh air blower.
As with all Classic Retrofit products, it fits straight into the car without modification, using the original electrical plug and Bowden cable work.
It is true plug and play.
Internally, the blower unit uses a modern double-cage fan which can move more air than the original. The real game changer is that it incorporates a modern parallel flow evaporator.
This allows a 911 with our A/C to get rid of the clunky separate A/C blower in the smuggler's box (LHD) or behind the passenger footboard (RHD). Two blowers are integrated into one modern unit, saving weight and space.
You can pair this blower with a traditional A/C system or if you want to join the electric A/C revolution, try our complete electric kit.
- Replaces original fresh air blower
- Double cage fan
- Parallel flow evaporator
- Recirculation function
- Plug and play electrical connector and Bowden cable
- Weighs 5.0 kg

Porsche Heating & Air Conditioning Parts
Air conditioning and heating are often taken for granted — until they stop working. In a Porsche, comfort and driving enjoyment go hand-in-hand, which makes a properly functioning heating and air conditioning system essential. At Design911, we supply a complete range of AC and heating parts to keep your Porsche’s climate control system working all year round.
From compressors, condensers, and hoses to heating elements, blower motors, and cabin filters, we have everything you need to restore performance and reliability. Whether you drive a classic Porsche or the latest model, our parts are available in both OEM and high-quality aftermarket options, all shipped worldwide.
How Long Does Porsche Air Conditioning Last?
Most manufacturers recommend servicing or regassing your Porsche’s air conditioning every 1–2 years, though some systems may last over 5 years. Even so, routine servicing is important to maintain compressor health and prevent costly failures.
A well-maintained AC system provides:
- Reliable cooling in summer and heating in winter
- Reduced risk of system breakdowns
- Improved air quality inside the cabin
- Increased comfort for driver and passengers
Common Causes of Air Conditioning Failure
When Porsche air conditioning fails, it’s
often due to:
- Low Refrigerant Gas – natural leakage over time reduces cooling efficiency
- Perforated Hoses or Pipes – allowing gas or fluid to escape
- Corroded Condensers – a common cause of AC loss in older vehicles
- Faulty Compressors – leading to complete system failure
These issues are repairable, but costs vary depending on the model and extent of damage. Regular servicing helps catch minor faults before they become major repairs.
How Often Should Heating & AC Be Checked?
To avoid discomfort and costly repairs, have
your Porsche’s heating and air conditioning system checked every 12–24
months. Over time, gas levels naturally decrease, reducing efficiency. If
levels drop too far, you risk:
- Loss of in-cabin cooling/heating
- Increased strain on compressors and other system components
- Expensive repairs from avoidable wear
A service keeps your system in good condition, while a repair addresses specific faults. If major issues are found during a service, we’ll notify you before carrying out any additional work.
