The Verus Engineering Carbonfiber Side Splitters complete the aerodynamic appearance of your 981 Porsche GT4. We wanted to design a product that functioned as well as looked the part; thus we turned to CFD to ensure the units perform on the track. The side splitters help seal high-pressure air from making its way to the bottom side of the vehicle, thus reducing lift. The units are constructed from pre-preg carbon fiber for unparalleled strength to weight.
During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This resulted in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.
These side splitters were designed for owners looking for function and form from a side-splitter addition.

Verus Engineering set out to improve airflow through the factory intake system and free up horsepower by using an improved filter media and CFD influenced filter design. Utilizing CFD allowed us to modify our design, reducing the pressure drop through the filter and improving efficiency.
The advanced dry filter media improves air-flow and features low-pressure drops through the media. The dry filter is cleanable and reusable as well with no risk of over-oiling and releasing oil into the intake system. We improved flow into the intake by incorporating a large bell-horn upon inlet into the intake system as well as utilizing a specific cone shape for best filter media performance. The entire filter is proudly produced in the USA.

Dramatically improve rear-end grip at speed with our 300mm chord, swan neck wing. The wing and full aero kit were designed in CFD to greatly improve the vehicle's performance around the track.
The wing alone has the ability to dramatically reduce lap times. Through back-to-back testing, we saw a reduction of 2.5 seconds at Thunderhill and 3.3 seconds at Laguna Seca on a relatively stock GT4 at only 4 degrees angle of attack with one of our customers. The Verus GT4 swan neck wing installs like the OEM wing; with no permanent modifications to the car necessary.
Construction on the rear wing is the same as seen in high-end Motorsports; which is how the wing only weighs a mere 8 lbs.
The uprights are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and were FEA analyzed to ensure strength was kept high while weight was minimized.

Front splitters are very effective at producing front end downforce without increasing drag significantly. They do this by creating a large pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces. We then incrementally improved the front splitter by adding design tweaks to the underside of the splitter to improve flow with our carbon splitter diffusers.
The splitter is produced from a carbon thermoplastic, which is the same material used in high forms of Motorsports. The material is not brittle, so no more issues with cracking like carbon fiber and ABS. It will not grab and bend under the car like aluminum units either. It is a great splitter material.
The air dam is used to bring the splitter flat with the vehicle's underbody and improve performance further. The air dam is produced with pre-preg carbon fiber and is cured in an autoclave for reduced weight and improved strength.

Rear diffusers are extremely efficient downforce producing devices when designed properly. We set out to produce a functional rear diffuser for the Porsche 981 GT4 using state of the art R&D processes. The assembly blends function and form utilizing carbon fiber, sheet metal, and hard rubber.
Utilizing scan data, CAD, and ANSYS Fluent analysis software; we were able to design and produce a functional and aesthetically pleasing rear diffuser for this Porsche chassis.
The three main diffuser planes are produced from 2x2 twill, autoclave cured, carbon fiber; while the strakes are manufactured from durable polyurethane for longevity.
The entire unit bolts to chassis locations through multiple sheet metal brackets. There is absolutely no drilling or fabrication required for installing this rear diffuser.
*Outside stakes require slight trimming if installing with OEM GT4 muffler*

Dive planes also referred to as canards, allow you to shift the aero balance forward, possibly aiding you and your setup in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser.
