SOUND:
Aside from the catalytic converters, the E3 Cayenne has an extremely free flowing exhaust. So the best way to get more sound out of your E3 Cayenne is to replace the factory catalytic converters. These Cat Bypass Pipes will make your Cayenne incredibly rowdy. Pops, bangs and crackles will be gunshot loud. This will be at the cost of some interior drone.

Fabspeed's Sport Catalytic Converters replace the restrictive factory cats with high-performance German-imported 200-cell HJS catalytic converters for significantly improved performance and sound. The Cayenne's factory cat-back exhaust has a very free flowing design when the valves are open so the only way to gain more sound and power is to change out the factory catalytic converters. HJS Sport Cats flow extremely well, flowing at 93 - 95% the rate of a straight pipe. Fabspeed Motorsport invested a lot of time and resources into developing the best possible downpipes and we're now proud to offer you this latest and greatest solution.
SOUND:
Aside from the factory catalytic converters, the E3 Cayenne GTS / Turbo has an extremely free flowing exhaust. So the best way to get more sound out of your Cayenne is to replace the factory catalytic converters. These Sport Cats will make your Cayenne sound much more aggressive. It really brings out the V8 sound from the 4.0L powerplant. Pops, bangs and crackles will be much louder and sharper. Best of all, there is no interior drone whatsoever.
POWER:
Get awesome bolt on power gains from your Cayenne GTS / Turbo with these Sport Cats. We saw max gains of 22 whp and 21 ft/lbs of torque. These Gains are carried throughout the entire RPM range for power you can feel in the seat of your pants. Peak power is also up 12 whp and 4 ft/lbs of torque!

As many GT3 owners know, the OEM mufflers are prone to cracking, breaking and blowing out, particularly the titanium mufflers on GT3RS cars. Fabspeed Motorsport Engineers design a GT3 primary muffler replacement that not only fixed that issue but also greatly improved on the OEM design in multiple measurable ways. Using our 30+ years of air and water-cooled experience, we took the valve open tubing to 2.75in / 70mm which is the optimal diameter for GT3 engines to have low restriction but maintain high velocity and high RPM GT3 pitch for the signature GT3 CUP car sound. Then, we implemented our signature investment cast 70mm 2.75" X-Pipe for optimal exhaust scavenging and maximum volumetric efficiency. The X merges the two cylinder banks without creating any restriction in exhaust flow. To maintain the factory muffler’s exhaust note and lack of drone, we mimicked Porsche’s 7 chamber design. This makes for a completely drone free muffler, even when running cat-less race headers! Using GT3 headers with cats or Fabspeed headers with HJS German EPA approved catalytic converters along with Fabspeed GT3 Side Muffler Muffler Bypass Pipes for the ultimate emissions compliant lightweight GT3 exhaust. Fabspeed's GT3 center muffler is guaranteed to NEVER BREAK or fail- and OUTPERFORM any other aftermarket GT3 center muffler. 100% made in house at Fabspeed.

From 2,900 RPM all the way to 5,700 RPM it picks up =12 horsepower or more, and peak power at the wheels is up from 446 to 454! That’s a gain of over 12 HP at the crank- from simply swapping out the fragile restrictive OEM Porsche 997GT3 to the very latest GT3 RS Titanium OEM factory mufflers. BEST ADVICE- but and install a Fabspeed GT3 center muffler and SAVE you fragile OEM GT3 muffler for Concours shows and restoration. All GT3 OEM mufflers BREAK & EXPLODE when driven long and hard enough.

Get the absolute most power and sound from your 992 Carrera without any check engine lights. This system exhaust mimics the valves open configuration of a 991 GT2 exhaust and because of the modular design if you find the setup too loud for everyday driving you can use the optional muffler adapter pipes so that you can reinstall the factory muffler or our Valvetronic Maxflo Exhaust.
With over 25+ years of Porsche air and water-cooled experience, Fabspeed Motorsport USA offers a great enhancement for your stock exhaust or aftermarket exhaust on your Porsche 992 Carrera. Fabspeed was the first company to design and engineer every Porsche twin turbo exhaust enhancement. From the 1996 993TT to the 2021 twin turbo, making a sports car like the 992 Carrera / Turbo even faster and more exclusive is the domain of Fabspeed.
Using only certified high-performance HJS components imported directly from Germany, our system eliminates all risk for black market, grey market, or counterfeit HJS catalytic converters from other companies. Increase the exotic twin turbocharged Porsche sports car sound and reduce back pressure allowing for a much quicker turbocharger spooling and transient turbo response for the 992 VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry). Fabspeed sport cats replace the restrictive OEM 800 cell catalytic converters with HJS Emissions Technology catalysts guaranteeing NO CEL (Check Engine Light).
SOUND:
This system provides an aggressive sound that matches the incredible power and speed of the 992 Carrera. Expect a significant increase in volume over stock more turbo spooling sounds, while burbles and pops on deceleration are much louder and sharper.
POWER:
This is the most free-flowing exhaust design possible while still maintaining catalytic converters. When testing on our AWD Dynojet power was up across the board. Down low, the Turbo spools faster and harder, netting 23.7 WHP and 41.5 ft/lbs of TQ at 3000 RPM. Max power gains are at 5300 RPM where it gained 47.7 WHP and 47.1 ft/lbs of TQ. That's a gain of 54 HP at the crank! See our dyno graph above for more details.

The 997.2 Carrera Maxflo Performance Side Exhaust replaces the factory side mufflers, improving the exhaust flow and the overall power while providing a deep and throaty sports car sound. This system can be used with the OEM outlet tips, or can be upgraded to include Deluxe Quad-Style Tips.

The design of this airbox cover was inspired by factory Porsche Cup Cars. After much on-track testing done by Fabspeed’s Owner on his 993 RSR, he found that using this open filter design netted the best power results, with more flow and cool intake temps.
SOUND:
The factory Carrera airbox is designed to muffle the induction note of the engine to keep it out of the cabin. This airbox lets all that glorious air cooled flat six induction growl into the cabin.

Porsche Boxster Cayman owners have requested a conversion kit that allows the installation of a Porsche OEM 991 GT3 center muffler onto their cars. Fabspeed Motorsport listened and designed in CAD and built inhouse a lightweight installation kit that allows any 6 speed Porsche 981 GT4 or Spyder owner to install an OEM GT3 center muffler (A PDK version will also be available once we are able to test fitment). This kit also allows the installation of a Fabspeed 991 GT3 Center Muffler Bypass Pipe or 991 GT3 Center Mini Maxflo Performance Exhaust onto your 981 GT4/Spyder.
The system consists of 2.5" 63.5mm CNC mandrel bent one piece Left and Right side over axle pipes and clamps. Then a set of valved side muffler inlet Y-pipes that retain the factory PSE valved exhaust functionality. The valves are OEM Porsche GT3 HELICAL vacuum-actuated exhaust valves that are imported from the U.K. We use our FLOW Waterjet to cut a CAD designed, lightweight, stainless steel mounting bracket to hold the muffler; hardware for installation is included. This and the Factory Porsche muffler band straps hold everything in place. For tips, you can use the factory 991 GT3 tips or you can order our custom exhaust tip mount with any choice of our signature tips.
SOUND: Enjoy the characteristic sound of a factory Porsche engineered exhaust but with a nice increase in volume! With PSE off (valves closed), the exhaust is still tame and livable in the cabin. However, with PSE on (valves open) hear that flat 6 howl up to redline! The larger over axle pipes that are included also contribute to the overall louder tone.
POWER: The 991 GT3 muffler was designed by Porsche to support 475 HP, because of this it flows a lot better than the 981 GT4 muffler that was only designed for 385 HP. We expect this increase in flow, helped by our larger over axle pipes and muffler inlets, to give a nice HP increase.

HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters.
